Crazy Legs, part II?

Okay, it seems that the Blog Frog is officially lost. Somewhere between California and Canada, Crazy Legs got lost, stuck in customs, or ditched us to party on his own. I'm not sure what to do. I love the idea of this project, but it's a lot of work and a few people have been demanding, impatient, and sometimes downright rude. I have also spent over $40 on this project so far, which I'm not sure that I'm willing to duplicate.

SO... here is what I propose: I am willing to give my time - update the blog, maintain the list, send out emails, answer questions, etc... but I am not willing to shoulder the financial expense on my own again. If you are still interested, I am asking that you donate some money - just $1 or $2. Once we hit the $30 mark (which will be enough to buy another frog, clothe him, and mail him off), I will post here and let you know, and stop taking donations.

I don't mean to sound as though I resent this project or don't get any joy from it. It's really fun and I had a great time doing it... until things started to fall apart (people taking too long, people not posting enough, and the eventual loss of the frog). There were many people who emailed just asking where the frog was, where they were on the list, etc. - and I have NO problem with you. But those of you who sent nasty emails should be ashamed of yourselves. I maintain this site for fun and donate my time to do so. Please remember that I am doing the best I can. I have no control over what happens to the frog as he travels from person to person. You should always feel like you can email me to see where you are on the list, or if you have any questions or suggestions... but please keep the negative emails to yourselves.

So... let's start this process all over again! I'm keeping the list as it is and will pick up where we left off once we have a new frog. I think this could be fun again - let's make it happen!

I don’t know were to start. First of all for someone who keeps a blog and has a deep love for nerds and nerdy things Jessica isn’t very techy (understatement). I swear everything she touched the week I was with her broke, or started to act up. It is embarrassing how much trouble she had with Flicker, she promises to add photos to this post...they are on the camera, but will she be able to get them off?

Stats for the week:

O Home cooked meals, the closes we came was fruit.

1 rocking new hair cut…she got bangs and knows how to use them.

1 new pair of ass jeans.

2 shopping trips to find the perfect outfit for a date, and after the perfect outfit was bought she didn’t even wear it…she wore something else.

2 parties

2 green (my favorite color) dresses bought. One for the engagement party and one is a bride’s maids dress.

3 dates with 3 different guys, 2 of them were good…and 1 not so good.

3 new piercing. (ouch! but so worth it.)

3 painful days with out the internet, and even longer it you count the days where it was SO SLOW.

3.5 the average number of hours slept during the work week.

5 warts removed (and frogs get the bad wrap for being warty).

5 stops to find a piercing place that was open late on a week night…and we didn’t find one. So I guess that the real number is 6 because we went back the next day.

6 Starbucks stops.

Unknown oz. of Diet Coke, Go-Girl, and caffeine digested.

I arrived in Augusta, GA just one day after then end of the Master’s Golf Tournament so everything had pretty much returned to normal. Apparently I JUST missed quite an event. Upon my arrival, I was immediately given a thorough sniffing by Belle and Luna, PaintingChef’s furry children. I guess they decided I wasn’t there to steal their food, hugs, or toys because they seemed to be fine with me so we sat down to hammer out some ground rules.

I spent most of the time I was there hanging out with PaintingChef and her husband, watching them cook dinner and harass each other. Those two are kind of crazy; you wouldn’t believe the things they find to talk about. I also watched PaintingChef throw some paint around. Believe it or not, she really does paint! I chilled with the dog on the bed during the day while the people were at work. In the evenings we would be outside in the yard watching the neighborhood kids play with Belle. They’re crazy about that dog for some reason. It was all very domestic and uneventful but sometimes that’s the good stuff.

I did take a ride down to the Augusta National where they have the Masters. We tried to stop and take a picture but were threatened with incarceration and I’m pretty sure there isn’t bail money in this box of mine. So we moved on.

PaintingChef can make a mean margarita and I definitely had my share of those. Wow...I sure do hope I’m 21...

Things got a little crazy around the house after I’d been there a week so I decided to hang around and make sure that everyone was going to be fine. You’d be amazed at the calming effects my snazzy leather jacket and fuzzy skin have on a crazy hormonal lady! And for my efforts, I was rewarded with a kicky flower lei. I look kind of hot in it if you must know...

But I’m now on my way to sunny California to see Jessica Mazie. I can’t wait!! Does she live close to Hollywood? I think I'd make a great movie star...

Hello from your Blog Frog Director. Thank you for your emails. Yes, I realize that it's been almost a month since someone has posted. And yes, I realize that you would all like your turns. I am very sorry for the delay. Please know that I am doing the best job I can - but some things are out of my control. I tell people who to mail Crazy Legs to... I ask them to only take a week because the list is long... I email and remind them to be considerate of those waiting. I have been in contact with Painting Chef, and she assures me that she's on top of it. Her life just happened to get extremely crazy right when the frog got there. Life happens sometimes, so please try to be patient. We'll get things rolling again soon....

Keeping Cool in the Arctic Circle

Sorry for the long delay for news of my Maine travels -- it has been a whirlwind 10 days with MarthaWho and her family. These people definitely kept me on my webbed toes.

MarthaWho and Mr. MarthaWho are performing in a play in Portland in a month so I've been a stowaway to a few rehearsals, and I've lent a green hand in helping them memorize their music and practice their dance steps. They were definitely shocked to learn that I am such an accomplished thespian myself. I did cut my teeth hopping around in those cruise ship shows and then there was that time I was the understudy to Kermit. So close to greatness I was... then again, the big Kerm doesn't have the blog presence I do ...

After rehearsals we'd reconvene late night to watch Tivo'd episodes of MW's favorite reality TV shows. It was my first large scale introduction to the onslaught of reality crap on TV. I do have to confess I kind of dig the wet jungle rainforest atmosphere in Survivor -- I saw a few of my colorful relatives from time to time in the nature shots which was way cool, and the bikini-clad ladies were nice eye candy too. My favorite reality program was American Idol, but that was until I learned last night that Mandisa got the boot. I thought she was safe when I voted 8 times for Chris. Major bummer.

When not treading the boards with the MW's, I spent some quality time outdoors taking in the beautiful surroundings. Maine has a lot of open speaces and the MW's have a river in their back yard. I was envisioning an evening of kicking back in a pint-size adirondack chair and sipping a few flytini's... but my visit did not correspond with the right season as you'll see from the photos to be posted.

All in all, Maine was nice -- but on my last day -- a full two weeks after the start of spring, and long after all of the winters' snow melted, we had a blizzard! Can you believe that? There was a full 2 inches of snow on the ground when MW packed me up for my next ride. This state is too cold for my thin blood -- needless to say I am glad to be moving south to Georgia, next. Bring on the sunshine, Painting Chef, because I am on my way!

My weekend in Sharkeyville

I had quite the eventful weekend with Sharkey and J.P. We started our partying early on St. Patrick's Day, heading to the bar in the late afternoon.

Of course, we O'Houlihans know how to do it up right on St. Patty's Day. I wanted to go to an Irish bar, so we went to Kildare's.

But you know, I'm not much for green beer. So I had a few martinis instead.

Drinking always makes me a little nostalgic, and since we were in my hometown I wanted to visit my birthplace for old times' sake.

We ran into my cousin Warren—I couldn't believe it! He must've had more to drink than I did, because he was sitting there naked! But still, it was good to catch up with him.

With baseball season coming up, Sharkey and J.P. thought I needed a t-shirt to support my hometown team. Here I am wearing it on Saturday night when they got together with some friends. I don't normally pose with people's feet, but this person was wearing some froggy socks. The frogs were wearing berets—what's up with that?

Since Sharkey's birthday is next week, her friends made her a cake for dessert. She let me blow out the candles, but she still got to make her own birthday wish.

I think Sharkey wished I would never have to leave, but I know that Martha Who? is awaiting my arrival. Pssssst . . . hey Martha! I'll try to make a break for it tomorrow or Wednesday. See you soon!

I arrived at Sharkey and J.P.'s house last night. This was the first thing I saw when they opened my box:

What kind of beast could have done this damage? I was afraid for my life, and I jumped back into my box in fear! Finally, after they put the beast in her cage, they were able to convince me to come out. Just look at how fierce she is!

Today I hung out with J.P. while he worked from home, and tonight they dragged me to church choir. I haven't sung in a long time, but I managed to croak out a few notes.

I'm not sure what will kill me first—the beast or all the excitement around this place. I hope I survive the weekend!

Off to School

The first place the mrsfish family took me was to school with the little fish. I was an uber hit with the kiddos.
Little fish made a map of all the states that I have been to and shared it with her teacher and the class.
The first graders had lots of questions about me and my travels. Little fish did a good job telling about my blog family and my travels.

I arrived in Centreville on Tuesday and had to wait in my box on the porch until the family came home. It was cold, but MrsFish's and her little girl were mighty excited to see me. They settled me in quickly and made me comfortable. The little one and I cuddled up with our blanky's right away. They also promised me that they would keep me safe from the pup. They tell me that I get to go to school with the wee one so she can show me off and tell where I have been to her class mates. This weekend they are taking me from the loveliness of suburbian Virginia into our nation's capitol. I might get to ride a train while we are there.

Wicked's son was so impressed with my travels that he thought it would be fun to start a blog buddy too. I had a little bit of a hangover this morning, but we stopped downtown anyway and I'm glad we did. We had a nice view of the city from the terrace at one of Wicked's friends downtown apartments. She said that we would run by Alltel Stadium tomorrow to see where Super Bowl XXXIX was held last year. I'm really getting into this football thing. I'm sorry that I was traveling and missed the Super Bowl this year. I was glad to see that my Steelers won. I'll always be partial to my hometown Steelers, but it's great to get some sweatshirts of the teams who's cities I've visited. I'm becoming quite the collector.

Wicked just happens to work at a Bank and she let me play in the vault for a little while before anyone else got to work. There's just something about rolling around naked in a pile full of cash that made me feel as green as the day I was born. If you ever get a chance to do the same, I highly recommend it.

I spent yesterday and Monday at home with the house to myself. Just had to watch out for those cats! Adrienne and Ryan were at work and even when Ryan got home, Adrienne was still having to go to school!

Today should prove to be at least slightly more interesting: Adrienne needs to ship the computer she sold on eBay today, so she brought me along to guard it while it waits in the car until she can ship it after work. So today I get to go to...
-The UPS store
-The Post Office to mail something else
-The bank to trade in a whole assload of rolls of pennies for dollar bills
-The apartment rental office to pay A & R's rent.

Adrienne said if I'm good, and the temperature gets above 25 degrees, she'll even take me THROUGH THE CAR WASH! The excitement never ends...

Yes, they lead an interesting life here in North Dakota. Three out of the 4.5 days I've been here, it's been significantly snowing and the one day it wasn't, it was very windy and cold. I'll have some photos later of whatever we may do.

I plan to move on from here at the end of the week, off to sunny Florida, FINALLY. I guess I won't need that scarf Adrienne's making me, but I'll keep in anyway because I'm sure my travels will take me up north again!

Day 2 in North Dakota

I'd hoped today would be more interesting than yesterday... and I guess it was. Just a bit.

This morning Adrienne and I got to sleep in while Ryan was off to work! When we finally got up and around, it was still snowing, so we just kinda sat around. Finally I rejoiced when she offered me a beer for lunch! "Booze is good food," she told me. This bliss was too good to be true though - after I got my beer, she put me to work stamping and licking envelopes for hers and Ryan's "save the date" cards.

When Ryan got home, they decided I should see some sights, so we drove around a little until they realized that a) the weather was bad and b) there are really no sights to see in Grand Forks. Adrienne didn't have time to knit me a scarf (something about being a full time grad student who also has a job and who also is planning a wedding?), but she let me borrow one of hers for the drive. Here I am with the Grand Forks sign... Thank goodness Adrienne's Saab has those heated seats.

The best part is that after all that driving around in the cold and snow, Ryan and Adrienne took me to Qdoba and we got some kickass burritos to take home with us. Spent the evening chowing down on burritos, watching MST3K (that's Mystery Science Theatre 3000, for you non-fans) and Sealab 2021 DVDs. I don't think the sun shines in this part of the country, but this life ain't so bad... as long as I can stay indoors!

I finally made it to the great white north!

So I showed up here in Grand Forks, North Dakota today, at the home of Adrienne of morechickenandtuna.net and Ryan of zombie underground. They and their horde of cats have really made me at home in their little apartment.

It's cold here and it's been snowing so hard, the power went out within an hour of my arrival! I'm glad I packed a blanket because this is NOT leather jacket weather! Of course, they don't have a Build A Bear or any kind of store that sells clothes to fit me (they don't have any cool stores here at all), but Adrienne said she'd knit me some mittens and a scarf before I have to go outside.

It doesn't help that pretty much as soon as I got settled on the couch, Adrienne had to take off my shoes and hide them from the demon kitten, who was ready to rip the laces apart! Maybe I should ask for some socks, too.

Tonight we watched some movies and they settled me in to a really cool chair. Adrienne said she found it in a dumpster in Eugene, Oregon. It doesn't smell or anything! I might even sleep in this chair. Adrienne gave me the littler of her two Powerbooks to use to update this blog, which is sure nice of her, but she told me not to mess it up or anything because she's selling it on eBay right now.

Well, it's time for bed now. These people go to bed SO EARLY! (I think it has something to do with Ryan having to be at work by 6 a.m.) Tomorrow we're going to have to go out looking for some beer for me - they don't sell beer in the grocery stores here due to the law, and Frogs aren't allowed to just waltz in to the liquor stores.

This week has been pretty fun. I got to see where the Carolina Hurricanes play and see the NC State football field. I have also learned that UNC sucks. I have no idea why, but apparently they do. I think their sheep mascot is kind of cute though.

I also went down the the capital building in downtown Raleigh. It's amazing that the state of NC actually has a government. You could have fooled me! You know, I wanted to play the lottery while I was here, but was informed that there was no lottery here because gambling was the work of the Devil. Seriously though, I think they are getting a lottery in a couple months. I tried to march on the capital for the sake of frogs rights, but security turned me back. Frog Equality!

After a long week of sightseeing, I decided to chill out and knock back a few beers and cheer on the Steelers and the Panthers, both of which won their games. I loved watching Peyton Manning choke yet again. The Steel Curtain was in full effect, yo! The Panthers kicked some Bear behind too. A hint for the Panthers: throw to Steve Smith every play! He'll catch it!

I am outta here tomorrow to destination unknown. It's been fun here in Raleigh. It's been 65 all week and they call this a winter! I hope I am going someplace warm! Thanks to everyone here who made it fun. I even enjoyed sitting on the bench at a hockey game! Peace out, homefrogs!

Who wants some sweet tea?

Hey everyone! Crazy Legs here. I arrived in the strangely warm and un-winterlike state of North Carolina on Saturday. It's so warm here that I even got to shed my leather jacket and go au natural for the first time in a long time. I was tempted to go for a swim upon arrival, but thought better of it when I dipped a flipper into Falls Lake.

I am here with ScottyGee in the capital of North Carolina, Raleigh. It's a lot better than I thought it would be. In my head I pictured a bunch of overall wearing yokels racing around in beat up cars spray painted to match their favorite NASCAR drivers. It's not like that at all. Well, not entirely. It's very pretty, clean and laid back. The kind of place a frog could get used to.

Saturday night I took it easy after my trip. I just lounged around with Scott and Dory. I think someone slipped a roofie in my fly cocktail because most of the night was a blur and I woke up on Sunday to Dory licking me. I felt a little violated.

After a quick breakfast, Scott announced that I would be accompanying him to his hockey practice. It was too damn early for hockey, but he insisted. Once inside the Mini and rolling down the road, I realized Scott thinks that all Minis need to drive like they do in the Italian Job, so I grabbed a helmet, held on for dear life and tried not to croak.

Scott is definitely not a morning person. He looked half asleep as seen below. That may explain all the swerving during the ride to the rink.

After a couple hours of hockey, I decided to try playing a little goalie. I figured the webbed hands would work as well as a goalie mit, but man was I wrong! It really helps to have a soft skull when pucks are flying at your face. After that ordeal we headed out to breakfast with some of the guys. Nothing like a worm and fly omelet. Mmmm.

The rest of the day we spent on or hind quarters watching the Carolina Panthers and the Pittsburgh Steelers whup up on their opponents. Nothing pleases a frog more than seeing Eli manning completely fail. Muahahhaa. Go Panthers!

Late at night I realized that Scotty had a sweet looking video game system. It was indeed an Xbox 360. Frogger has never looked better. We cracked a couple of brews and gamed for a bit. I must have got a good buzz on because I don't remember doing what you see in the photo below, but apparently I was really fond of that Xbox. So much so that I tried to make it my tadpole's momma. I feel so ashamed.

That's about it for now. Scott assures me there will be sight seeing and a couple hockey games in the near future. So I am looking forward to that. Right now, I think I'll go hang with Dory and try to figure out why Pete is so into her.

Ahh... it's great to be home! (I'm sure that will last a day or two - and then I'll be ready to hit the road again) I had to make a quick stop to ditch some of my luggage... the box was getting pretty full. Don't worry - I'm not throwing ANYTHING away. I just figured there was no sense in hauling my Halloween costume and that embarrassing Christmas gear around until next year. Charlotte&Sue have promised to keep all of my things in a safe place until I wander home to pick them up. They also got me a new box, which is great because mine was looking a little raggedy. I'm going to hang out here for their New Year's Eve party, and then I'll be on my way to ScottyGee's place. I'm excited to hang with him!

Hello from Illinois!!!

Crazy Legs arrived on Tuesday, November 29th. Unfortunately here in Vajanaland everyone is feeling a big 'froggy' themselves so I had to sit and watch "Felicity: an American Girl Story" and BOY oh boy was I super bored. But, the girls were so cute I just couldn't complain!

Looking forward to my stay here...although it's kinda weird, there's no kitchen table and the toilet is sitting in the hallway. Vajana says they are remodeling, I guess as long as I have a pad to sleep on I'm good!

This is myself and the Pumpa yesterday after eating way too much Turkey and stuffin'.

We had a lovely dinner followed by yummy pie. Then the whole family (just about) loaded up and off we went. You ever heard about the day after Thanksgiving sales? Well, this family thinks it starts the night of Thanksgiving. We got to the local Wal-Mart just after 6pm last night. You should have seen the cat fights early this morning when people were fighting over a little Cabbage Patch Doll. It was complete craziness. Unfortunately Chana's camera was left at home or you would be seeing some pretty funny pictures. We were all playing cards and board games in the middle of the aisles (not just us, but everyone else waiting too) at the wee hours on the morning (thank goodness for 24 hour Wal-Marts). It was probably the best day I've had while being here. It was also my last day/night. I am heading to my next stop shortly. Although this stop wasn't the funnest of my adventures, I did have a good time. And I am really going to miss these wacky people.

Lookie - Lookie

I don't know who's smiling more myself or the Aunt. Boy does she know who to have a good time. I've got to spend the last 2 days with her while Chana's been working. We've had a great time getting to know each other.

This family is so wacky, I tell ya. Oh, and manners? I don't think they know what that word means. They belch and pass gas (loudly I might add) and then they all laugh. That is until the stink comes back in their face.

Tomorrow I am going to work with Chana. That should be fun - NOT!! I have finally talked these people into going shopping. It's so cold here and all I have are these shorts and little ole t-shirt. I told them I need some leg warmers. So, we're heading that way now. I'll be back tomorrow with pictures of my new wardrobe.

I made it to Utah yesterday. It's very pretty here but it's freezing!!

Chana and her family are some really crazy people. They have quite a few people living under this roof. Four generations. How about that? Besides Chana, there is also her mom, her Gram, her Pumpa (their name for Grandpa), and her teenage son - I am sure I'll be posting pictures of all of them sometime in the next few days.

As for my day today I had a good time - that is once the lazy boy decided to get out of bed. Chana said we needed to wait for him because he was the one with the plans today. Once noon hit I had enough of the waiting and went in and woke him up myself. Nothing like a slimy tongue on your face, huh? After he got up and showered off we went. First stop was to see the latest Harry Potter movie.

It was very loud and intense and even a little scary. So, I excused myself to the bathroom in the middle.

I played around in here for a while because I really didn't want to go back in to see the rest of Harry Potter. I got soaking wet from playing in the sink and I figured I'd better get back before I was missed. However, on my way back I passed a theater with this movie and decided to stay and watch.

Now this is my kind of movie. After the movies we stopped by the local mall and the son and I went on some "rides" while Chana exchanged a few things.

You should have seen the son trying to fit in this one with me. When he finally figured out he was a little bit too big he settled for watching me thru window.

Then it was on to dinner. Whew!! I was starving since the popcorn at the theater tasted stale.

Dinner was good, and we are now getting ready to retire for the evening. The old man (Pumpa) is snoring away in his chair so I think I am going to jump up on his lap and join him. Oh, and rumor has it that Chana has an Aunt who knows how to down the alcohol. I think I am going to try to talk her into taking me to meet her tomorrow.

Hello from the Trophy Shop!!

Well today is my last day here with the people with all the animals. I mean seriously, isn't 5 cats and one 60 lb. dog, a little much!?!?

Unfortunately, other than on the weekend, these people really don't DO much. I got her last Wednesday and we did a few things over the weekend, but that's about it! We went to visit her family on Saturday and then on Sunday we took the Dog and went to the park and then drove around the area a little bit. Big whoop! Oh well....I'm sure the next place will be more exciting.

Most of my time here was spent avoiding the Beast. Seriously, everywhere I went...he was RIGHT THERE

I'm so glad that my jumping legs still got it. They came in plenty handy as this Dog can jump REALLY high but I was able to out jump him in distance though....I even got a medal for it!!!

See, they actually DO give out medals/awards for EVERYTHING!!!

I think this so called breed (Malinois) is actually a dog crossed with a Kangaroo!

I think because the female feels so guilty for making me hang out at their store all day long, she made me a tag for my backpack. As if I don't know who I am?!?! But if I ever lose my backpack, I guess whoever finds it will know it belongs to me.

I'm heading out sometime tomorrow to my next stop. So this will be the view that the Beast sees as I blow this popsicle stand!

Change of plans, we didn't end up going to the Black Diamond Mines like originally discussed. Actually there was no discussion, the female just decided we weren't going. We took the Beast with us instead and went to the park.

It was ok, but the Beast kept running all over the place chasing a ball, some dirt, a fly, the wind...seriously, that Dog will chase a fart if you let him. He's odd and a little too hyper for my liking.

Anyway, after the park we drove around and took some pictures.....I think that's "the delta" or something out there.

The female also wanted to run a few errands (oh joy!)

Before we left, the female was SO excited because the male had fixed her XM (I think that's what she called it) thing-a-majiggy. Apparently she's been without it for MONTHS and was a little too happy to have it working again. I on the other hand, was NOT very happy once she turned up the sound and started singing.

She took me to the downtown area, which was very small and very quaint. I prefer the big city, but whatever.

When we got home, we watched the male's team lose to the Denver Broncos. I think this made someone very happy.

I guess the female and the male are going out to dinner tonight to celebrate something....they're going here....WITHOUT me. Hey! I like Italian food!!

They're going to leave me alone with the Beast.....

Today we took the trip from Brentwood to Alamo, CA.....not too bad, about a 40 minute drive. Thankfully I did not get car sick!

The "Princess" she spoke of was actually just a little baby. At first I was afraid she was gonna upchuck on me or something, but she didn't. She was actually kinda cute. She let me sit in her special little seat even!

Then we sat on the couch and talked for awhile. She's kinda quiet...just makes a few "coo" and "goo" noises......

But she is pretty sweet....

I felt an overwhelming urge to protect her......AND I was a little hungover, so the nap felt good.

All in all, it was a pretty nice visit.

ROAD TRIP!

Finally, we have something to do (besides hang out all day at their store)! I heard the female talking on the phone and it sounded like we're going to go see "A Princess" today. I saw her camera bag in the car, so I'm sure there will be some pictures of me with this supposed "Princess". I just hope she doesn't think if she kisses me I'll turn into a Prince. That is the lamest excuse I've ever heard to lay a little sugar on me. Seriously, all you have to do get me drunk and you and kiss me all you want!

Depending on the weather (huh? I thought I was in "sunny CA"!), we might be going here tomorrow. I heard the female talking to the male about taking "the Beast" with us. You guys aren't going to believe this, but I actually gave that silly canine HAND commands and he obeyed me! ME! A Frog! I'm not sure if I think that's the smartest or the stupidest dog ever. Hand commands...from a FROG!?!?!

Well, I survived Halloween with The DallasKs.

I hung out with this guy while they took the kids out. What is this crap that Kami handed out? Goldfish, Ritz Bits, and Animal Crackers? Where the crap is the candy? Gawd. Living with health nut people is no fun, but Kami totally snuck in a way cool breakfast the other morning. At least I found the Crown.

I am off on a jet plane tomorrow to stay with Suzie! I have really enjoyed my time with the K's. I'm so glad that they have just one kid, instead of five, and they don't drink enough, and Kami hasn't smoked one cigarette with me, but she mentioned something about asthma and this time of year or some crap. What. Ever. I hope Suzie has some cigs for a frog.

Dear Diary,

Today, Kami took me to this wonderful French place called La Madeleine. It was so yummy!
I got to meet Future Food TV Star! She's way cool. For lunch, we had Spinach Salad, Potato and Cheddar Soup, Tomato Basil Soup, Grilled Cheese Sandwiches, and Strawberries Romanoff. So very yummy.

So, Kami and the MILF took me to Dallas Arboretum today for some pictures. Wow. I could totally live there. And guess what we found: THE BIGGEST FROG EVER!!!

Dear Diary,

I'm in Texas now! Wow. It's so cool here. Well, not like temperature cool, but cool cool. Okay, it's cool now that it's nighttime and all. So, I got here to DallasKs house today. They don't actually live in Dallas proper, but out in the 'burbs. Kami said something about crime rates and smog or something. So, all that crap you've heard about Texans is so wrong! The DallasKs don't even say "y'all!!!" They say, "you guys," just like my buddies out in California. And they don't wear cowboy boots. Okay, so I had a long trip from Charlotte's, so I'm going to bed soon.
Kami made me some Chicken Piccata, Fettuccini Alfredo, and broccoli for dinner. She tried to make me drink milk like little DallasK, but I protested until I got a glass of wine like she had. She's a freak, man. She wigs out if there's a fly in the kitchen when she's cooking. I say, "What's the big deal? I love flies!"

She put me to bed in Nik's chair with the blanket that Charlotte made me. Isn't is sweet? She made me sleep with a stuffed donkey (something about Democrats or some crap) and a stuffed Bevo (whatever that is). Goodnight, all.

Well Kristine was right when she said Crazy Legs likes to hit the bottle. He’s a bit hung over this morning and unable to update everyone on his night last night, so I will take over the honors.

Last night around 3 a.m. I was awaken by a loud knock on my door. It was the police. Seems Crazy Legs threw a little party last night and got a bit carried away. I’m not sure I have gotten all the story here as to how the party came to be, but here is what I know.

Yesterday he and I went for a walk down the trails behind my house. There is a creek back there that he decided to take a quick swim in. At first I thought it would be quick and then we would go home and finish baking our peanut butter croakies. But after an hour swim, he came back with a few frogs in tow. Crazy Legs was excited to tell me that he had come across a few of his cousins he hadn’t seen in several years. So, I was happy for him and decided that he could invite them all back to the house for croakies and milk, catch up on everything and then we would walk them back to the creek.

Well, that was my first mistake. They were rowdy, ate all the croakies and drank all the milk! My house was a disaster and I barely got the terrors to leave. Once they did, Crazy Legs and I went downstairs to finish our sewing projects he was helping me on. We talked about his pending trip to Kami'shouse and all the fun places he is getting to travel to. Nice afternoon.

Crazy Legs suggested we go out for pizza….and that was my second mistake. Come to find out, he had arranged for his frog cousins to sneak back in while we were gone and set up a kegger. They hid out down in the wood shop until we all had gone to bed. According to the story I was finally told, Crazy Legs and his cousins were quite the ornery boys growing up. So ornery that his Aunt and Uncle moved to the creek out back to get them all away from each other.

So anyway, they invited the whole frog community over to my back yard for a big party. They grilled burgers and hot dogs and drank the entire keg. After chasing all the neighborhood cats, they thought it would be fun to turn on the ceiling fans and see who could hold on the longest. They were so drunk that not only could they not hold on to the fan, they couldn’t hold their beer either.
The party got so loud and the cats were tired of being chased, so the police was called. They told him to pack his bags and move on by the next afternoon, or they would be back to take him and his froggie friends down to lock up.
I’m hoping he has a nice safe trip to Texas and I will be checking to make sure that he doesn’t have any stowaways for Kami’s sake!

I have been having a lot of fun this week. Yesterday I went with Charlotte to the photography studio. They are in the middle of Senior pictures, so I got to meet a lot of people. I had a couple of photos taken of me and I got to pose with some of the girls. There was a creek running thru the property, so I snuck away for a quick swim and a bite of lunch.

Today, I learned how to sew. Charlotte has a very large order for raggedy dolls, so I decided to help out and sew them together.

Here I am modeling with all my handiwork. I think they would look better green, but I've been told that the customers aren't into "green" raggedies. I think I look rather adorable, so what could be so bad about green raggedies? Oh well. Time to go dress my new friends.

Hello everyone! Just a quick update to let you know that I have arrived at Charlotte's house. I was a little worried that I might be spending the night in this metal box, but luckily she finally saw fit to come home from the studio and release me. I'm looking forward to a fun time and will update everyone soon.
